Our in-house veterinary nurse

Meet Francesca Lees, Tippaws' in-house Registered Veterinary Nurse, Feline Behaviourist and all around cat-lover!  

 

Francesca is a Registered Veterinary Nurse and lives in Devon with her family and her Bengal cat, Aurora. Francesca started her career working as a veterinary nurse in 2014 and she then decided to focus on cats. She did a Feline Nursing Certificate with International Cat Care and then a Nurses Certificate in Animal Behaviour with ISVPS. She then completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Animal Behaviour with Sparsholt College. 

Francesca now runs her own cat behaviour consultancy business, helping owners to tackle cat behaviour issues. She is also a Provisional CAB Member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and is working towards Clinical Animal Behaviourist Status with the ABTC. 

Francesca’s love of cats started at a young age but it became her passion and chosen career path when she was 21. Francesca left home, moved into her own house and the first thing she did was get her own cat - a beautiful black smoke kitten called Kiki. Now, as a cat owner,  it was clear to Francesca just how special cats are to their owners, how they bring so much comfort and joy to peoples lives and how they can help you overcome difficult times.

Francesca feels cats are the heart of the home and that a house is not a home without a cat!
