Most feeding guidelines for cat food will be based on only feeding your cat that particular food. However, the reality is that most people switch up cat food either because they feed their cat wet and dry food, or they like to provide variety or their cat is fussy!
We’ve researched the most common wet cat foods in the UK and provided a recommendation on how much Tippaws Dry Food you need to feed your cat based on you feeding your cat one portion of wet food a day. Below you can find how many calories are in a pouch of cat food or a tin of cat food.
Adult cats require 40-45 calories per kilogram of healthy weight.
It is important to note that the calculations are based on the calorie requirements of a cat, however just like humans, this is not the only determining factor for how much food a cat needs. Depending on their size, breed, growth stage and health, your cat may require more or less food than what is stated below. We recommend starting with our recommendation and monitoring your cat.
